The Lagos state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC),has unanimously  endorsed President Bola  Tinubu for  second term in office.

The party promised to deliver massive votes for his re-election in 2027.

The endorsement was announced at the party’s stakeholders’ forum held at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Motion for endorsing Tinubu as the sole candidate for the presidential race was moved by the Ayangburen of Ikorodu, Oba Kabiru Shotobi, and the motion was seconded by the Speaker of the Lagos state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa.

Present  at meeting were major stakeholders in the party, including, the state governor, members of the Governance Advisory Council, National Assembly members, ministers, members of the Lagos state House of Assembly, members of the Lagos state Executive Council, council chairmen, royal fathers, market leaders, community development associations, women and youth leaders, market women, religious leaders and persons living with disabilities.

While speaking at the forum, Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, said President  Tinubu deserves a second term to appreciate his proven leadership and firm commitment to national transformation.

Earlier, the chairman of the party, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, announced a N20 million prize for the local government in the state that recorded highest number of newly registered voters in the ongoing voters registration exercise
