Victor Osimhen is on the brink of setting a new record at Galatasaray as the Turkish giants prepare to face Bodo/Glimt in Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League encounter.
The Super Eagles striker is aiming to become the first player in the club’s history to score in seven consecutive European fixtures.
Osimhen currently shares the record with Burak Yilmaz, who found the net in six straight European outings during the 2012 season.

Chasing a historic seventh consecutive goal
Osimhen matched Yilmaz’s feat after netting the decisive goal in Galatasaray’s 1-0 victory over Liverpool last month.
The 26-year-old is expected to spearhead the attack when the Turkish Super Lig champions host the Norwegian side, having come off the bench in their 2-1 league win over Istanbul Basaksehir last weekend.
Strong start to life in Turkey
Osimhen has registered three goals in seven appearances across all competitions this season, and a goal on Wednesday would etch his name further into Galatasaray’s European history.
