Paris Saint-Germain extended their flawless European title defence with a stunning 7-2 demolition of Bayer Leverkusen in Germany on Tuesday night.

The chaotic encounter featured eight goals, two penalties, and a red card for each side.

Early dominance and red card drama

Luis Enrique’s men wasted no time asserting control, taking the lead through Willian Pacho’s close-range header after a clever short-corner routine.

Despite PSG’s dominance, Leverkusen fought back and earned a penalty after Ilya Zabarnyi handled the ball, but Alejandro Grimaldo’s effort was saved by Lucas Chevalier.

Moments later, the match descended into chaos. Leverkusen’s Robert Andrich was sent off for elbowing Désiré Doué, before PSG’s Zabarnyi conceded another penalty and was dismissed himself. This time, Aleix García converted to level the score.

Doué’s brilliance and Parisian ruthlessness

PSG’s response was emphatic. Doué restored the lead with a clinical finish after a lightning-fast counterattack, before Khvicha Kvaratskhelia doubled the advantage moments later.

Doué then curled home his second of the night just before the break, marking a stunning individual display for the 19-year-old returning from injury.

Relentless second-half surge

The Parisians resumed their assault after the interval, with Nuno Mendes making it 5-1 after a surging run down the left.

Aleix García struck again for Leverkusen with a powerful long-range effort, but substitute Ousmane Dembélé, celebrating his 100th PSG appearance, restored the four-goal cushion with a simple finish.

Vitinha capped off a magnificent team performance in stoppage time, drilling home the seventh to seal an emphatic win that keeps PSG top of the continental standings and firmly in control of their campaign.
