Daniel Naroditsky’s Biography
Daniel Naroditsky was a renowned American chess grandmaster, author, and commentator born on November 9, 1995, in San Mateo, California.
He learned chess at the age of six from his father, Vladimir Naroditsky, a Ukrainian-born math professor and chess instructor.
Daniel’s mother, Lena Naroditsky, is an Azerbaijani concert pianist.
He won the Under-12 World Youth Chess Championship in 2007 with 9.5 out of 11 points and became the youngest player to win the Northern California K-12 Championship in 2007.
Additionally, he earned the International Master title in 2011 and the Grandmaster title in 2013 at the age of 18.
Notably, he published his first chess book, ‘Mastering Positional Chess’, in 2010 at the age of 14
