The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Abuja Chapter (PFN-FCT) has  charged members to reflect on the fellowship’s impact in redefining Nigeria’s cultural and moral standards.

Apostle Israel W. Abam, the 10th chairman of PFN FCT chapter, gave the charge during the  40th anniversary of PFN-FCT with a special award service held at the RCCG (City of David) Auditorium in Utako, Abuja. 

The Clergyman lamented that  the deviation from moral  values has  contributed  to widespread corruption in the country.

He therefore called for a reignition of the “Pentecostal Fire” that once characterized Nigeria with genuine miracles, signs, and wonders, urging a departure from perceived manipulations.

Speaking on the  theme around reflection, renewal, and honour, Apostle  Abam expressed gratitude to God for the fellowship’s journey, highlighting the significance of the milestone. 

He noted that the celebration offers an opportunity to appreciate the founding fathers’ role in fostering a spiritual atmosphere that allowed the Holy Spirit to take root in Nigeria, creating a widespread culture of the gospel.

The chairman also announced the ‘William Okoye House Project’ an initiative to construct an administrative, spiritual, and leadership hub for PFN in the FCT. 

The project, named after the first PFN FCT chairman and founding father, aims to preserve the fellowship’s legacy and heritage.

In addition, Abam paid tribute to late founding father Papa Uma Ukpai, describing his passing as an irreplaceable loss. 

He emphasized the fellowship’s commitment to peace, urging members to exercise their right to protest against injustice without resorting to violence.

The event include the presentation of awards to honour distinguished members and leaders for their service to the fellowship, God, and humanity. 

Apostle Abam concluded with a prayer for God’s honour upon attendees and a safe return home.

The celebration underscored PFN’s resolve to uphold its founding principles and spiritual identity as it looks toward the future.
