Chelsea and Ivory Coast legend Didier Drogba has named Victor Osimhen as the player who most resembles his style of play on the football field.

Speaking in an interview with Sporty TV, Drogba said the Super Eagles striker reminds him of his own approach to the game marked by power, determination, and leadership.

When asked to mention the player who currently plays like him, Drogba simply replied, “Osimhen.”

He added jokingly, “Because of him, people from Ivory Coast complain and tell me to go with my Osimhen.”

The former Chelsea forward praised Osimhen’s rise in football, saying his story should inspire young players.

“Osimhen is the kind of person that should inspire the youth. He came from nowhere and then became successful,” Drogba said.

Osimhen, who plays for Napoli in Italy, has often been compared to Drogba for his strength, aerial ability, and relentless style of play. The Nigerian forward was a key part of Napoli’s Serie A title-winning team and continues to be one of Africa’s top strikers.
