Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has reaffirmed his loyalty to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He insisted that he has no plans to defect to any other political platform.
Speaking on Saturday in Abuja, Mohammed addressed concerns over recent PDP defections to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The PDP Governors’ Forum chairman acknowledged the exodus but clarified that he cannot control the decisions of his colleagues.
“I assure you, I am not going anywhere. I am in the PDP, and my state has no element of division.
“As a leader of a group of equals, I cannot dictate the choices of my colleagues,” he stated.
He emphasized that discussions are ongoing behind the scenes and that the situation could have been worse if not for careful management.
Mohammed described some defections as politically motivated and urged those leaving the party to exercise caution and not tarnish its reputation.
“But a lot of discussions are ongoing behind the scenes.
“The wave of defections could have been worse, but we are managing it,” he said, reiterating his commitment to unity within the PDP.
