It has been a week of dreams come true for Super Eagles and Sevilla striker, Akor Adams, as he hit major career milestones in the space of five days, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 25-year-old forward joined Sevilla in January and had to deal with muscle injuries in his first six months, but it appears the tides have now turned in his favour.
After scoring against Rayo Vallecano, the former Montpellier striker got on the scoresheet in Sevilla’s 4-1 win over Barcelona, got a maiden call-up to the Nigerian national team, and made his debut this evening, before scoring 17 minutes after he came on.

Akor Adams stays breaking records
Adams’ goal against Barcelona last Sunday was set up by another Nigerian, which was another milestone. The goal against Hansi Flick’s side made Adams the first Nigerian to score against Barcelona while being set up by another Nigerian, Chidera Ejuke.
After scoring against Lesotho this evening, the former FC Songdal striker joined an elite marker of Super Eagles stars to have scored on their first appearance in green and white.
Julius Aghahowa made the Nigeria squad for the 2000 Africa Cup of Nations as an uncapped 17-year-old, and then scored in his first appearance in the final group game against Morocco, while Obafemi Martins did the same in a friendly against Ireland in May 2004.

Ekigho Ehiosun, Stephen Ayo Makinwa, and Femi Opabunmi are other Nigerian footballers to have scored on their debut for the senior national team.
