Akwa United have announced the appointment Paul Offor as their new head coach, reports Completesports.com.
Offor guided Sporting Lagos to Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, promotion in the 2023/24 season.
The young tactician will be assisted by Tosin Adekugbe, Okechukwu Promise, and Akarandut Orok. Bassey Akpan will take up the role of goalkeeper trainer.
The club was relegated from the NPFL last season.

Offor has been tasked with the responsibility of returning Akwa United to the top-flight.
Meanwhile, a new management team has been set up for the Promise Keepers.
Joseph Eno will take up the role of new chairman of the club.
Eno, a seasoned procurement expert and football enthusiast, is a University of Nigeria, Nsukka graduate with a rich background in both corporate and grassroots football.
Supporting him in the new management setup are: Pastor Ini Edoho – Vice Chairman, Mr. Jimmy Joshua – General Manager, Elder Omon Bassey – Club Secretary, Mr. Festus Akpan – Team Manager, Mr. Mfon Patrick – Media Manager, Mr. NsikakAbasi Akpan – Assistant Media Manager.
