The founder of Citadel Global Community Church, Pastor Tunde Bakare, has declared that only God can remove President Bola Tinubu from office.
He emphasized that the Nigerian leader’s rise to power was divinely ordained, highlighting the spiritual dimension of his leadership.

Bakare made the statement on Saturday, during the inaugural edition of the Citadel School of Governance Dialogue Series in Lagos.
He insisted that Tinubu’s emergence as Nigeria’s President was not accidental but a product of divine orchestration.
“If God wants to remove ‘Emilokan,’ He knows how to do it.
“You can’t get the kind of thing Tinubu has brought without God’s support,” Bakare said, highlighting the spiritual dimension of Tinubu’s leadership journey.
According to the cleric, the President’s achievements and rise to power were evidence of God’s guidance.
“You can’t deny that his rise and what he has achieved came through the hand of God,” he added, stressing that human efforts alone cannot account for Tinubu’s political success.
Bakare also noted, “Leaders are instruments of God’s will. When He appoints someone, it is not by chance.
“Tinubu’s leadership is a call from above, and it must be respected and supported.”
He further urged Nigerians to focus on unity and constructive engagement with the administration.
“We must work together, irrespective of political affiliation, to ensure that the nation prospers under the leadership God has provided,” Bakare stated.
The cleric warned against attempts to undermine Tinubu’s administration.
“Those plotting against him should understand that no earthly power can thwart God’s plan. Our prayers and support are what sustain a nation,” he concluded.
