A wave of mass migration has gripped the Oro-Ago community in the Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara South Senatorial District following rising insecurity in the region.
According to Daily Post, the large-scale exodus reportedly began on Saturday morning and continued into the evening, as residents fled the community due to the persistent cases of kidnappings and killings that have plagued the district.
Security sources revealed that both indigenous residents and Fulani/Bororo herders were among those relocating to safer destinations. Many of them were seen departing in private and commercial vehicles.
