Coalition Of ADC Youths Call For Dissolution Of Party Exco In Adamawa – Independent Newspaper Nigeria

The coalition of Adamawa State Youths under the auspices of African Democratic Congress (ADC) has called for the dissolution of the state branch of the party executive under the leadership of Comrade Shehu Yohanna.

Speaking at a press conference at the NUJ Press Center in Yola, the chairman of the coalition, Mallam Mohammed Alh. Adamu who claimed to be speaking on behalf of ADC Youths in Adamawa called on the National Executive of the party to urgently dissolve the leadership structure of the party to pave way for speedy progress of the party.

Comrade Adamu alleged that the Yohanna-led ADC leadership in Adamawa State is facing crisis while Alh. Mustapha Arabi aspirations to lead the party cannot do the party any good.

According to him, what needs to be done is outright dissolution of the party exco to pave way for speedy progress.

He said the teeming youths under the ADC deserved to move forward under a more progressive leadership and to start strategizing for the 2027 race in which the ADC is hoping to win all elective seats.

In a swift reaction, the Adamawa State ADC State Chairman Comrade Shehu Yohanna said the ADC does not recognized those who are frivolously addressing the media on the role of the party leadership because the party has been able to coordinate it’s affairs well to welcome eminent personalities into the party and those who had abandoned the party are sponsoring such reckless youths from attempting to deray the speedy progress been made by his leadership.

Comrade Shehu Yohanna said the party needs all hands on deck to build a gigantic party that can win election at the national level and also at the State levels in all elective positions.

He pointed out ADC needs vibrant youths with requisite ideas to move the party forward not those who would be sponsored by distracted innuendos to cause commotion in the party, Comrade Shehu strongly called on the elders of the party the party to call such charlatans to order to stop distracting the smooth progress of the ADC.

He said youths required by the ADC are those who will work for the progress of the party and not those who have no locusstandi but will make frivolously inciting statements the party does not need them.

He said ADC will win the nation outrightly in 2027 and will also sweep Adamawa State therefore ADC needs courageous youths not youth who collects crumbs from those who wants to destroy the party and make unfounded allegations against it.

He called on such frivolous and uncharitable youths to desist from calling the national secretariat of the party which is filled with eminent personalities who are shining stars of Nigerias example of leadership at it’s highest level.

He called on the ADC national secretariat to reject such innuendos saying that Adamawa ADC is in tandem with Senator David Mark, the National Chairman and Aregbesora the National Secretary of the ADC to move the nation forward.
