The Delta State Police Command has intensified enforcement of regulations governing the use of tinted glasses, impounding twenty-five vehicles in Asaba for non-compliance.
In a post on X on Friday, the Command confirmed that the affected vehicles were seized for “driving a tinted vehicle without a tinted permit in Asaba.”
The statement, titled “Enforcement of Tint Permits,” urged motorists to comply with the law by obtaining valid permits through the authorised platform. It advised drivers to “visit @POSSAP_NGG website today and get it done or your police state headquarters.”
The police reiterated that the enforcement exercise aligns with nationwide directives to enhance public safety and curb criminal activities associated with unregistered tinted vehicles.
The Command assured the public that the operation would continue across the state and appealed for full cooperation from motorists to avoid sanctions.
