I’ve No Plans To Replace Amorim As Man United Manager

Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola has debunked reports circulating in the media that he’s set to replace Ruben Amorim as Manchester United.

Speaking ahead of Friday’s clash against Fulham, Iraola told the club’s website that he’s happy at Bournemouth.

“I am very happy here, we have a very good relationship with the owner and Simon (Francis) and with Tiago (Pinto), and we will speak.

“When there is something to announce, we will tell. We are not going to speak about these things here.”

Recall that Bournemouth’s only defeat of their top-flight campaign was against the league leaders Liverpool on the opening day of the Premier League. However, Iraola has disclosed that he wants his team to competitive in the Premier League.

“It is too early to look (at the table). I am not sure where we are. I know we are there, but I am not even sure. For me, it’s about being competitive.

“I am happy because we are being competitive; some games, we are playing better, in other games not as good, but I think we are being competitive.”
