Bayern battle to keep Olise amid pressure from three Premier League clubs

Bayern Munich are scrambling to secure Michael Olise’s long-term future as Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea circle with offers reportedly exceeding €100m.

The Bundesliga giants are already in talks to extend the French winger’s deal, despite his current contract running until June 2029.

Bayern fear Olise could be prised away

Reports in Germany suggest Bayern fear Olise could be prised away next summer if an exit clause in his contract is triggered.

Club chiefs are therefore preparing to table fresh terms that would keep the 23-year-old at the Allianz Arena until 2031, with a significant pay rise to match his growing influence.

“Face of the new Bayern”

Olise earns around £10m annually, far below Harry Kane’s £20m package, leaving Bayern room to manoeuvre.

Sporting director Max Eberl hailed the ex-Crystal Palace star as a decisive player for the club’s future, while president Herbert Hainer described him as “one of the faces of the new FC Bayern.”

The winger’s form this season has underlined his value, with five goals and six assists already, including a standout display with two assists and a goal in the 5-1 Champions League win over Pafos.

Bayern face Eintracht Frankfurt next, but off the pitch, they know fending off Premier League and PSG interest in Olise will be one of their toughest battles in 2025.
