Rapper and fashion mogul Kanye West has once again sparked controversy online after posting a cryptic message on social media, declaring he was in “pain that no one person can fix” before sharing a list titled “The Betrayal.”
In the now-viral post, West wrote that he was in “pain that no one person can fix” before listing an unusual mix of names from ex-wife Kim Kardashian and fellow artists like Diddy, Pusha T, Kid Cudi, and Ty Dolla $ign, to NBA star LeBron James, US president Donald Trump, and even fictional characters such as Curious George and Patrick Star.
But it was the inclusion of 11-year-old North West that drew the sharpest reactions, with many social media users condemning West for publicly naming his daughter in such a context.
Many online users described the post as both troubling and satirical, pointing to West’s history of provocative public statements. Others suggested the post could be interpreted as an expression of personal grievances, paranoia, or a form of performance art.
Neither West nor his representatives have clarified the meaning behind the post at the time of writing.
The reaction has further fueled debates around West’s unpredictable online presence, with some fans expressing concern for his well-being, while others accused him of intentionally courting attention through shock value.
