Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Aleix Garcia has disclosed that Pedri remains the most important player for Barcelona.

In a chat with Sport, Garcia stated that Pedri gives meaning to the game and improves his teammates.

“For me, Pedri is the key: he gives meaning to the game, accelerates or slows down when needed, and improves his teammates.

“He is at an incredible level and makes Barça flow. Then the tactical work of the coaching staff reinforces that, but Pedri makes the difference.”

On Yamal, Garcia told Sport: “In addition to his abilities, I am impressed by how he handles the pressure. He is under scrutiny, but when he steps onto the pitch he forgets everything and performs.

“I like watching him with the national team: he is incredible. We have to take care of him and take it easy, but every game shows that we can demand a lot from him because he is so good.”
