Meta launches ‘Vibes’, new AI video creation, discovery feed

Meta is introducing Vibes, a new way for users to discover, create, and share AI-generated videos.

The feature, now available as part of the next iteration of the Meta AI app and on meta.ai, marks the company’s latest step in its push to make AI creativity tools more accessible and social.

At the heart of Vibes is a feed dedicated to short-form, AI-generated videos. Users can start from scratch, remix existing clips by changing styles or adding music, or build on their own content to make something new.

Meta said the feed is designed not only to inspire creativity but also to help communities experiment with emerging AI-powered media tools.

“Today is the first step toward a new way to discover, create, and share AI videos,” the company said in a statement.

As users scroll through the Vibes feed, they’ll see a mix of AI videos created by others. If something sparks inspiration, they can tap to remix it instantly altering visuals, layering in sound, or adjusting styles.

Finished creations can then be shared directly within the feed, sent via DM, or cross-posted to Instagram and Facebook Stories and Reels.

Meta has also integrated a cross-platform loop: when users encounter an AI-generated video on Instagram, they can tap through to remix it in the Meta AI app.

While Vibes is the headline update, the Meta AI app continues to function as a broader hub for the company’s AI ecosystem. Users can still manage AI glasses, explore photo and video tools, and get real-time help and inspiration from the Meta AI assistant.

The company says it is working closely with visual artists and creators to expand its AI video models and promises more advanced tools in future updates.

“We are excited to see what people create and to gather feedback as we continue to advance our AI video tools together,” Meta added.
