The Nigeria Army has warned re-engaged retired instructors to be more committed at their duty posts.
The Deputy Chief of Administration, Veterans Affairs, Major General Uriah Opuene, Wednesday gave the warning when he led a team tasked with assignment on assessment tour to Depot Nigerian Army Zaria.
Addressing the re-engaged retired personnel on behalf of Chief of Army Staff, Leautenant General Olufemi Oluyede, General Opuene during interactive session held at formations auditorium affirmed unwavering commitments of Chief of Army Staff in improving the welfare of the Re-engaged Retired Personnel in Depot NA Zaria as well as to have an on-the-spot assessment and evaluation engaged retired personnel.
He charged them to always discharge their duties with utmost commitment while contributing their quota in training recruits for the Nigerian Army.
Also speaking, the commandant of the school, Major General Ahmadu Mohammed Bello, stated that he was currently working out modalities on how to secure a convenient accommodation for the Re-engaged Retired Personnel as a way of boosting their morale.
