Jordan, a son of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, was Tuesday called to the Nigerian bar as a legal practitioner.
The young Wike is among the batch of legal practitioners called to bar in Abuja.
At the event holding at the Nigerian Law School in Abuja, Wike joined members of the body of benchers in a procession.
His media aide, Lere Olayinka, said: “Minister, Nyesom Wike, joined other members of the Body of Benchers in a procession at the Call to Bar ceremony today.
“His son, Jordan, is among the aspiring legal practitioners to be called to bar today.
“Happy Dad and Mum. FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, his Wife, Justice Eberechi Suzzette Wike, with their son, Jordan, who is to be called to bar today.”
Body of Benchers had on September 18, 2025 released the schedule for the issuance of invitation cards for aspirants slated to be called to the Bar between September 23 and 25, 2025.
According to a notice signed by Fatima Idris Ali on behalf of the Secretary of the Body of Benchers, the collection of invitation cards took place at the Body of Benchers Complex, No. 12, Y.C. Maikyau Crescent, Institute and Research District, behind the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Abuja.
The notice said the exercise,was exclusively for aspirants scheduled to be called to the Bar on September 23.
It added that each aspirant was required to present a Nigerian Law School identity card during the process.
The Call to Bar ceremony, organised by the Body of Benchers, is a statutory event that ushers successful law graduates into the legal profession in Nigeria.
