Tom Halland hospitalized after concussion on Spider-Man Brand New Day set


Actor Tom Holland has been hospitalized after suffering a concussion on the Spider-Man Brand New Day set.

According to a report from TMZ, the English actor was treated for a mild concussion and is expected to return to set in a few days.

According to TMZ, Tom Holland’s incident occurred on Friday, September 19, 2025, with no other individuals injured.

Following the incident, a meeting was allegedly held to adjust the filming schedule.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Spider-Man Brand New Day is a series set for release on July 31, 2026, as the fourth installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Spider-Man film series.

The film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.

The movie is expected to follow a more grounded, street-level tone, focusing on Spider-Man’s battles against everyday villains in New York City.

Notably, this isn’t Tom Holland’s first movie appearance, as he made several appearances, including the following listed movies;

The Impossible (2012): A disaster drama where Holland played Lucas Bennett, the eldest son of a Spanish family caught in the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami.

How I Live Now (2013): A post-apocalyptic drama where he starred as Isaac, a teenager navigating a world gone mad.

The Heart of the Sea (2015)*: A historical drama where he played young Thomas Nickerson, a sailor on the whaleship Essex that inspired Herman Melville’s Moby-Dick

Captain America: Civil War (2016)*: Holland’s first Marvel movie, where he debuted as Spider-Man/Peter Parker, teaming up with Captain America and Iron Man during a major conflict.
