Sanchez Tenders Apology After Chelsea Loss Vs Man United


Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sánchez has tendered his apology to his teammates for his blunder in the Blues’ 2-1 loss to Manchester United on Saturday.

Enzo Maresca’s side was at a numerical disadvantage very early on because Robert Sanchez was shown a straight red card inside the first five minutes.

After Bryan Mbeumo raced through on goal, the Chelsea goalkeeper clashed legs with the Man Utd attacker to bring him down and earn his dismissal.

Reacting after the game, Sanchez, via his Instagram handle, expressed his disappointment for letting the team down against Man United.

He said: “On me today guys, big sorry for that, team put a massive effort on the second half but couldn’t get there.”
