Former Wimbledon champion Iga Swiatek has disclosed that facing Jasmine Paolini in the final of Cincinnati will be a tough battle.
Swiatek made this known after overcoming Elena Rybakina 7-5, 6-3 in the semi-final, while Paolini edged Veronika Kudermetova in three sets to reach her maiden Cincinnati final.
Speaking ahead of the final, Swiatek stated that it will be a fierce battle against Paolini.

“At the beginning, I was even surprised I could keep up with the pace,” Swiatek told Tennis World.
“We played so fast, sometimes we couldn’t even run to the second ball. But I knew I couldn’t take my foot off the gas.”
“It’s impossible to keep up such a high level for the whole match. I just wanted to stay solid and intense, even when she was hitting aces or winners. I’m happy I kept my calm and played my game. But against Paolini, it will be tough.”
