Nigerian singer Skales has released his long-awaited studio album, Martina’s Son.
The artist revealed on his Instagram page on Friday that the album is now available on all major streaming platforms.
He shared that the 16-track project serves as a tribute to his late mother.

“Thank you Ms Martina for birthing me and sacrificing your life for me! Martina’s Son the album out now worldwide,” he wrote.
Martina’s Son reflects Skales’ rise from humble origins to global recognition, highlighting themes of gratitude, resilience, and the legacy he aims to leave.
The album includes collaborations with artists such as FAVE, Innos’B, Nasboi, Faze, Magnito, Yinka Ayefele, and Kvng Vinci.
The album’s tracklist includes songs like “Until We Meet Again,” “Glory,” “Mental,” “Scandal,” “Busy,” “Colour,” “Body on Me,” and “Unbelievable.”
Others are ‘Loosegaurd’, ‘Blessings Shower’, ‘Alcohol Na Your Mate?’, ‘B.T.S’, ‘Tota E Mole’, ‘Shake Body (Spanish Remix)’. ‘D.L.L.Y’, and ‘Jogo’.
Skales, whose real name is Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, rose to prominence after winning the North Central region of the Zain Tru Search contest in 2008.
In 2009, he joined Banky W’s Empire Mates Entertainment (E.M.E) record label, alongside notable artists such as Wizkid and Niyola.
Last week, Skales’ 2015 hit “Shake Body” was featured in a major Adidas advertisement starring Barcelona’s teenage sensation, Lamine Yamal.
