Ecobank Nigeria to host second edition of Design & Build exhibition

Ecobank Nigeria will host the second edition of its Design & Build exhibition, a five-day showcase of innovation in design, construction, and real estate. The event, scheduled for September 24 to 28, 2025, will take place at the Ecobank Pan African Centre (EPAC) in Victoria Island, Lagos, and run daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The exhibition, themed “How We Build, How We Live,” will feature just over 40 exhibitors selected from across the design and construction industry. Organisers say the smaller pool of participants is intended to emphasise quality and focus, offering a more in-depth experience for visitors.

According to Omoboye Odu, Head of SMEs at Ecobank Nigeria, the platform provides a link between innovators and opportunities in Nigeria’s growing design and construction sectors. She noted that the event also ties into Ecobank’s wider agenda of supporting entrepreneurs and expanding access to markets across Africa.

Curator of the exhibition, Titi Fowora, who is also Principal Interior Designer at Inu Designs, said the 2025 edition is “intentionally curated” to highlight both traditional craftsmanship and emerging solutions in design and construction.

Highlights of this year’s programme include daily knowledge-sharing sessions featuring architects, interior designers, and urban planners, as well as immersive kitchen installations and live cooking demonstrations. Organisers say the exhibition will also provide opportunities for networking with industry leaders, while offering brands visibility and exposure to global trends.

Design & Build is one of several initiatives by Ecobank Nigeria aimed at strengthening small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Other projects include the Adire Lagos Experience, the +234 Art Fair, the Ecobank National Schools Team Chess Championship, and Oja Oge 2025, in addition to ongoing training and empowerment programmes for businesses nationwide.
