Presidency sacks Tinubu’s aide Fegho John Umunubo


The Presidency has announced the immediate sack of Fegho John Umunubo, who served as Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Digital and Creative Economy in the Office of the Vice President.

Director of Information and Public Relations, Abiodun Oladunjoye, confirmed the development in a statement on Monday.According to the statement, Umunubo “no longer represents this administration in any capacity,” and anyone who engages with him in the name of the presidency does so at their own risk.

The warning was also directed at stakeholders in the digital and creative economy both at home and abroad.

Oladunjoye said: “Stakeholders and constituents of the digital and creative economy, at home and abroad, as well as the general public are hereby notified that Fegho John Umunubo… has been disengaged with immediate effect.

“Kindly note that he no longer represents this administration in any capacity. Henceforth, anyone who interfaces with him in the name of President Tinubu’s administration does so at his or her own risk.”
