The Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria has urged Muslims to internalise the profound lessons of the life of Prophet Muhammad as they celebrate his birthday.

The society harped on the need for the Muslims to emulate the impeccable character of the Prophet of Islam, his unwavering compassion, his pursuit of justice, and his profound humility,

as indicated in his popular saying: “I have only been sent to perfect good character.”

The president of Ansar- Ud- Deen Society of Nigeria, Prince Mosediq  Kazeem (SAN), gave the admonition in his Maulid Nabbiy message to the Muslim community.

Kazeem reminded   Muslims that  Maulid is not merely a historical remembrance, but  a renewal of their covenant with the teachings that brought mankind out from the darkness of ignorance into the illuminating light of divine guidance. 

“Allah (SWT) affirms the prophet’s mission as a universal mercy:

“And we have not sent you, (O Muhammad), except as a mercy to the worlds (Surah Al-Anbiya, 21:107).

The prophet’s life is the perfect exemplar for all humanity. As Allah instructs us,” he said.

Kazem added:”Let us use this occasion to strengthen the bonds of Islamic brotherhood, promote unity, foster peace, and rededicate ourselves to contributing positively to the development of our communities and our nation, Nigeria.

“We pray that Allah fills our hearts with the love of the Prophet (SAW), grants us the ability to follow his Sunnah faithfully, and allows the blessings of this epoch-making event to bring peace, prosperity, and increased faith to the entire Ummah.”
