A Nigerian man, Abner Aliu, has expressed gratitude to God after he and three friends miraculously survived a fatal car accident.
Aliu, who shared the testimony in a Facebook post on Sunday, September 7, revealed that the accident occurred last Friday while they were returning from a traditional wedding ceremony.
According to him, the car, which had four occupants, rammed into a pole and somersaulted, leaving the vehicle badly damaged. However, all of them came out alive with only minor scratches.
Sharing photos of the wrecked car, Aliu described their survival as nothing short of a miracle, noting that he was seated at the front passenger’s side, a position that could have cost him his life.
“So last Friday, myself and Baki (Sequel Photograph) and 2 other persons after a traditional wedding function around 12-1am, he needed to get something from SJ Deluxe and on our way back this happened. To the glory of God, we only had scratches.
“Being the person seated next to the driver at the front roll, that pillar could have either compressed me or hit my head, but I just want to thank God for everyone of us inside the car. It’s indeed a miracle,” he wrote.
The post has since attracted congratulatory comments and messages of thanksgiving from friends and well-wishers.
