Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has advised the club to strengthen the team with the signing of more players ahead of the Bundesliga kickoff.
Following their narrow 2-1 German Super Cup win over Stuttgart, England captain Harry Kane has urged the Bayern hierarchy to reinforce the squad after what has been a relatively quiet summer of arrivals.
The England international described the current squad as “one of the smallest” he has ever been a part of, raising eyebrows and concerns among fans and analysts alike.

“It’s probably one of the smallest squads I’ve ever played in. There’s still time until the transfer window closes and decisions could be made by (board member for sport) Max (Eberl), (sporting director) Christoph (Freund) and the coach,” Kane told talkSPORT.
“We have some young players who have done very well in pre-season. We’re a bit thin, but that’s not in the players’ control.”
With the summer transfer window closing on September 1, time is running out for the club to act. Before that deadline, Bayern face a tough Bundesliga clash with RB Leipzig on Friday.
