A senior lecturer at the Faculty of Management, University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka, Dr. Samuel Ojogbo, has been accused of sexually assaulting a 20-year-old female student of the institution.
The university management confirmed the allegation to Tribune Online yesterday.
According to reports, the 300-level student (name withheld) alleged that the lecturer invited her into his office on 22 August 2025, at around 12:00 noon, and allegedly forcefully had carnal knowledge of her.

The student reported the incident to the police on 28 August 2025 and was subsequently taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
UNILAG’s management confirmed its awareness of the allegation, noting that the police had already initiated appropriate action. The university’s Safeguarding Centre is also providing support to the student.
Mrs. Adejoke Alaga-Ibraheem, UNILAG’s spokesperson, confirmed that a panel constituted by the university to investigate the matter has commenced its inquiry, adding that findings would be made public through official channels upon completion.
She assured the public that the university would conduct a thorough investigation and ensure justice for all parties involved.
Alaga-Ibraheem reaffirmed UNILAG’s zero-tolerance policy on all forms of sexual harassment, urging students and members of the university community to report any form of misconduct or harassment through designated channels. She added that the university would take appropriate action on such reports.
