Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique will undergo surgery after breaking his collarbone in a cycling accident, the Ligue 1 club announced.
Enrique was involved in the Friday crash while on his bike. Emergency services rushed him to the hospital, where scans confirmed the injury.
Fortunately, doctors ruled out any additional complications, but he is scheduled to undergo surgery to repair the damage.
In a statement issued on Friday via their official X handle, PSG said: “Following a bicycle fall that occurred this Friday, Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique was attended to by emergency services and will undergo surgery for a fractured collarbone.

“Paris Saint-Germain wishes to express its full support to Luis Enrique and wishes him a speedy recovery. The Club will communicate further information shortly.”
The Parisians are set to face Lens on 14 September in their next league fixture before they begin their Champions League defence against Atalanta in the league phase three days later.
Luis Enrique joined PSG in 2023 and has won two league titles, two French Cups and the Champions League and also guided them to the Fifa Club World Cup final in July.
