Super Eagles star, Victor Boniface has come under scrutiny from an X user over his response to a journalist’s inquiry about his fitness.
It would be recalled that the footballer made an appearance for an interview with ESPN during his unveiling at Werder Bremen.
When asked about his fitness during the interview, Victor Boniface stated, “If my body is not 100%, I will be in the hospital. I will not be here talking to you”, dismissing concerns about his fitness.
According to the X user identified as Monsieur Avril, the interview was an opportunity for Victor Boniface to make a statement, but instead, he came across as arrogant.
Monsieur Avril emphasized the importance of education, noting, “An opportunity to make a statement, but chose to be a banger boy. Education no be scam. If e no dey, e no dey”.
Notably, Victor Boniface’s joining Werder Bremen came on the heels of his failed transfer to AC Milan.
