The Nigeria Police Force has appointed Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Benjamin Hundeyin as the new Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), the Police authorities confirmed on Thursday.
Hundeyin’s appointment follows the redeployment of the former Force PRO, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, to the Delta State Police Command.
Until his new appointment, Hundeyin served as the Police Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Command.

During his tenure, he gained extensive experience in media engagement and public communication.
Commenting on his new role, Hundeyin said, “I am honored to serve as the Force PRO of the Nigeria Police.
“My focus will be to ensure clear, timely, and accurate communication between the Force and the public, promoting transparency and building trust in our operations.”
He added, “I look forward to working closely with the media, community leaders, and all stakeholders to enhance public understanding of the Police’s efforts in maintaining law and order across the country.”
Hundeyin is a seasoned communicator with a Bachelor’s degree in English Language from Lagos State University and a Master’s degree in Legal Criminology and Security Psychology from the University of Ibadan.
He further stated, “Effective communication is key to policing in the 21st century.
“I am committed to bridging the gap between the Force and citizens to ensure accountability and responsiveness.”
