It’s indeed awesome, glorifying, tantalizing and a matter of pride that the long awaited moment that would bring a total hammer and an end to the much talk about debate on who is the ultimate and authentic leader of the APC in Kano State that most be recognized as such.
A clear signal that an uncontested and indefinable leader has emerged with power, connection, strong zeal and mastery of the game that unseated and dazzle the opposition with devastating blow that has exposed their week point. A strong signal that they are in for the kill comes 2027. That incredible and fearless politician is no other than Senator Barau Jibrin, the Deputy Senate President.

It is foolishness and miscalculations for the opposition parties to underrate the solid politician as they deeply regretted their narrow and myopic thinking which led to the yesterday political disgrace where the APC secured victory in the by-election and still legally contesting the other battle of the throne of Bagwai/Shanono, and despite the fact that they are holding the state in their pawn been the ruling party with all the might and unlimited resources at their free disposal. The said Senator strangled them and won a seat with the opposition looking in awe and bitter admiration.
Winning the battle is akin to playing a football match where spectators and other watching eyes believed and justifiably so that match is simply a mere walkover as an underdogs with no known reputable coach and above all with unknown players coaching crew led by a skillful yet underdog coach.
While the other side is full of reputable and power backed players who are presumed to be bigger than any team. But the match eventually turned out to be a spectacular and delightful to watch as he scattered and shattered the reputation of the other side with sensational display which led to the deserving draw, despite the visible and proven poor and one sided referee who works tirelessly to ensure the other side win. Everyone was amazed and dumbfounded as the terrifying Senator goes away with a deserving draw.
Moreover, winning the election clearly served two purposes. The emergence and coming onboard of the leader and indispensable supremo that would lead the APC in the state to resounding victory in the upcoming election.
Secondly, it exhibits a recognisable fighting spirit that would lead to the fall of Kwankwasiyya fraternity in the state. Those clamouring and promoting another candidate as a leader of the party, the APC should quietly sheathe their sword and embrace the emerging powerhouse that is indisputably superior and deserve to be respected. The other inhouse element that are power drunk should honourably be submissive and follow the leader using peace and harmony for the growth and anticipated strangulation of Kwankwasiyya elements in the upcoming election.
For the all powerful Kwankwasiyya, let them bear in mind that they have a powerful opponent ready to go the extreme in the upcoming battle of the throne of the state.
A man who has been terrorizing them and dominating their fold with inbuilt political strategies that is the work of genius. For in the last two years, thousands upon thousands of their followers have been decamping to the opposition APC courtesy of Senator Barau. And his tactics that was openly criticized has finally paid off. And the master would strategically triumph over the undermining flocks with this historic victory.
Bear it in mind that Barau Jibrin will, Insha Allah be the APC governorship candidate in Kano come 2027 and be rest assured is going to emerge victorious.
