May Yul-Edochie, the estranged wife of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, has taken legal action against Yinka Theisen, the former lover of Linc Edochie, accusing her of cyberstalking, cyberbullying, and defamation.
In a cease and desist letter issued by her legal team, Graylaw Partners, on September 4, 2025, May alleges that Yinka’s social media posts have maliciously targeted her, spreading falsehoods that have tarnished her reputation and endangered her safety.
According to the letter, Yinka’s posts go beyond mere defamation, employing a tone and manner that constitute “ridicule, unwarranted and harmful behaviour” and a “calculated assault” on May’s character.
The allegations include claims that Yinka’s actions have incited third parties to amplify the damaging content, causing May severe and irreparable harm.
May’s legal demands include an immediate halt to such publications, the retraction of existing posts, a public apology, and a published retraction across all of Yinka’s platforms.
Additionally, May is seeking N500 million in damages for the emotional and reputational harm caused.
The letter marks a significant escalation in the public feud, with May’s legal team warning of further action if the demands are not met.
Neither Yinka Theisen nor her representatives have issued a public response to the allegations at this time.
