Football fans will part with N3,000 for VIP seats and N1,000 for popular stands to watch Saturday’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Rwanda’s Amavubi at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo.
According to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), tickets will be available at designated centres across Uyo from Friday morning. The federation also warned against ticket racketeering.
NFF’s Director of Marketing and Sponsorship, Alizor Chuks, said: “It is important to let the general public know that the NFF Security Committee has declared total war on all ticket manipulators this time. Ticket fakers and racketeers will be dealt with.

“All tickets will be scanned at the gates. All intending spectators are advised to buy their tickets from accredited ticket sellers. Fake ticket sellers or holders will be arrested and prosecuted.”
Meanwhile, Rwanda’s delegation touched down at the Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo, at 5:28 p.m. on Tuesday. Led by the newly elected president of the Rwandan FA (FERWAFA), Fabrice Shema Agoga, the Amavubi are lodged at the Ibom Hotel and Golf Resort. They are scheduled to train at the practice pitch of the Nest of Champions on Wednesday evening.
The Super Eagles have now hit full strength at their Uyo camp as preparations gather pace for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Africa Player of the Year, Ademola Lookman, and Panathinaikos forward, Cyriel Dessers, were among the early arrivals at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel, Ikot-Ekpene, on Wednesday morning.
They have since been joined by Samuel Chukwueze, Tolu Arokodare, Raphael Onyedika, Chrisantus Uche, and star striker Victor Osimhen, bringing the squad to full capacity.
The latest additions provide coach José Peseiro with extra depth and attacking firepower as the Eagles look to begin their qualifying campaign on a strong note.
Nigeria will first take on Rwanda’s Amavubi at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo before jetting out to Bloemfontein for a high-stakes clash with South Africa.
With Group C qualification hopes on the line, the Eagles know only maximum points will keep their momentum alive and reinforce their push toward the 2026 World Cup.
