Manchester United top Premier League flop rankings over last three seasons

A new report has revealed Manchester United as the biggest underperformers in the Premier League over the past three seasons.

According to data compiled by CryptoCasinos, the Red Devils suffered the worse decline since the 2022/23 campaign, recording a 33-point drop, 12 fewer wins, and 14 fewer goals.

United also registered 41 defeats during the period, giving them the highest “flop score” of 60.34.

Tottenham Hotspur ranked second with a flop score of 40.17, having lost 22 points and seven wins while accumulating 48 defeats.

Despite scoring 208 goals, Spurs’ inability to turn attacking play into consistent results was highlighted as their biggest weakness.

Defending champions Manchester City placed third with a score of 35.41.

The study found they had dropped 18 points, seven wins, and 22 goals compared to their peak, resulting in a major decline for a team used to dominance.

Arsenal followed in fourth with a flop score of 22.09, recording a 10-point dip, six fewer wins, and 19 fewer goals.

Newcastle United completed the top five but were assessed to have remained largely steady, with only a minor five-point decline and no reduction in wins or goals.

The report suggests Manchester United’s struggles could continue unless urgent changes are made, while Tottenham are expected to remain inconsistent.

Meanwhile, Manchester City are tipped to recover, but Arsenal urged to find consistency to compete for titles. Newcastle’s stability, on the other hand, would reportedly help their push for Europe.
