Speaker Mudashiru Obasa has hailed Jandor’s return to the All Progressives Congress (APC), calling it a big gain for the ruling party in Lagos.
Obasa, who received the former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate at his official residence in Ikeja GRA on Tuesday, welcomed him warmly.
He said Jandor’s decision to return underscores the strength of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a party that reflects the collective aspirations of Lagosians.

“We are happy to have you back. This is a very good move,” Obasa stated, assuring Jandor of full reintegration into the APC fold”.
He added that the party remains committed to inclusive governance and development.
The Speaker further praised Jandor’s courage in making the decision, stressing that it was a step driven by conviction and a desire for progress.
“The APC provides a broad platform that accommodates diverse interests in the pursuit of sustainable development. Jandor’s return is proof of this inclusiveness,” he said.
In his remarks, Jandor expressed gratitude for the warm welcome, while pledging loyalty to the APC’s vision for Lagos and Nigeria.
“I am grateful for this reception and I am ready to contribute meaningfully to the party’s goals,” he noted.
Jandor also applauded President Bola Tinubu’s recent tax reforms, describing them as bold, people-centered policies despite criticism.
“It takes courage and leadership to introduce such reforms in the face of opposition.
“The President has once again demonstrated his resolve to put the people first,” he said.
