Manchester City’s director of football, Hugo Viana, has disclosed that Gianluigi Donnarumma’s pedigree, quality, and wealth of experience will play a vital role for the team.
The 26-year-old Italian goalkeeper penned a five-year deal, which will see him stay at the Etihad Stadium through to the summer of 2030.
Speaking with the club’s website, Viana stated that Man City have made the right decision to sign the Italian goalkeeper.
“Gianluigi’s pedigree, quality and record speaks for itself, and we are all absolutely thrilled he has joined us here at City.
