Zenith Labour Party, ZLP has expressed strong optimism of winning the February 2026 Area Council elections in the Federal Capital Territory.
The Organising Secretary of the party, Prince Nice Chuks, stated this at the Abuja Pioneers forum to unveil the party’s chairmanship candidate, Swani Buba for the forth coming area council elections in Abuja.

Prince Chuks who described the chairmanship candidate as a pillar of strength to many Nigerians noted that he has all it takes to revive AMAC from the very scratch.
On his part, the convener of the forum, Emmanuel Edili who emphasized that transformation must start from the grassroots if the council aspire for change stressed that it is time for change and the chairmanship candidate is the only one who has the potential to reposition the council.
He stressed that Nigeria needs to start investing in the youths noting that it will significantly boost the growth of national development.
Also speaking the candidate for the position of the vice-chairman, Nonso Okeke noted that he is just waiting for the celebration because he is confident that ZLP will win the election.
Earlier, the chairmanship candidate, Swani Buba stressed that his manifesto is not a collection of empty promises but a practical blueprint for the transformation and development of AMAC under leadership of Zenith Labour Party.
“Nigerians have learnt their lesson so will not longer allow their conscience to be bought with money” he stated. I humbly present myself to serve the people of Abuja municipal Area Council,(AMAC) under the banner of the Zenith Labour Party” he stressed.
Bubs said ZLP is out to create an inclusive government with adequate representation of all gender and groups.
“My vision is to create a council where government truly reflects the needs of the people, where prosperity is shared and dignity is restored to every citizen. I am out to address the challenges facing AMAC from inadequate housing to poor access to healthcare, underfunded schools to limited opportunities for the youths.” The Chairmanship Candidate stated.
Buba futher pledged to collaborate with the people to transform the council to a better place.
“I am certainly going to win the ruling party and other at forth coming Area Council elections because i have the backing of the people.”
