

Mississippi news anchor, Celeste Wilson has tragically passed away at 42.
According to a report from US weekly, Celeste Wilson passed away from an apparent heart attack and her death has been confirmed by 16 WAPT.
It’s worth noting that Celeste Wilson recently joined WAPT 16 as a weekend anchor, bringing her passion for storytelling and journalism to the station.
She began her broadcasting career at a CBS affiliate in Monroe, Louisiana, after earning a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern State University and a master’s degree in journalism from Arizona State University.
She worked at several local news stations, including KNOE 8 News in Monroe, Louisiana, and KARK 4 News in Little Rock, Arkansas.
