Breaking: “Courageous Traditional Ruler” Emir of Zuru Dies in London

Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi state – Alhaji Muhammad Sani Sami Goma II, the Emir of Zuru, is dead.

As reported by Vanguard on Sunday, August 17, the monarch died at a London hospital in the United Kingdom (UK) on Saturday night, August 16, after a brief illness.

Channels Television also noted the sad update.

According to Abubakar Dustin Mari, the Kebbi state commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs, the late Emir of Zuru was briefly ill.

Mari stated that Emir of Zuru, 81, was survived by four wives and seven children.

The statement said:

“We regret to announce the passing of Emir of Zuru, he was a courageous traditional ruler”.

Furthermore, the Kebbi government extended condolences to the late monarch’s immediate family, the Zuru emirate, and the entire people of the state and prays to God to give his family the fortitude to bear the loss.
