Former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has handed over a property in Yola to the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The property will be used as the party’s Adamawa State secretariat.

The property, located in Jimeta, Yola North Local Government Area, previously served as the state secretariat of the PDP.
It is set to be repainted in the ADC colours, symbolizing a fresh start for the party in the state.

The move is seen as a significant boost for the party, which has been gaining momentum both in Adamawa State and across the country.
Speaking on the development, Umar Jada, popularly known as Calculate, a chieftain of the ADC and Assistant National Organizing Secretary/Zonal Organizing Secretary, “aid,This gesture by Atiku is a remarkable support for our party.
“The facility will provide ADC with a befitting work environment to mobilize our supporters and strengthen our political presence in Adamawa State.”
He added, “We are grateful for this act of confidence. It demonstrates Atiku’s commitment to grassroots politics and the growth of ADC in the North.”
On his part, Atiku Abubakar commented, “I believe in creating structures that empower political participation.
“Handing over this property to ADC is part of my effort to ensure that credible and reform-minded leadership has the proper foundation to thrive.”
Atiku further emphasised, “Political progress requires infrastructure and organization.
“This secretariat will serve as a hub for nurturing young leaders and reform-minded citizens across Adamawa State.”
A party member, Aminu Bello, also praised the gesture, saying, “Atiku’s contribution shows that leadership is not just about titles or offices; it is about creating platforms for sustainable political engagement and growth.”
The handover is expected to accelerate ADC’s activities in the state, providing the party with a functional base to plan campaigns, mobilize supporters, and strengthen its presence ahead of future elections.
