TikTok has launched its new platform, TikTok for Artistes, in Nigeria, aiming to give musicians and their teams powerful tools to expand their global reach.
The all-in-one dashboard, which debuted globally earlier this year, provides daily insights on song performance, fan engagement, and audience demographics. It also features guides and resources to support long-term career growth.m
“With the launch of TikTok for Artists in Nigeria, we’re giving artists and their teams access to insights that can help them engage their fans in more meaningful ways and grow their careers globally,” said Toyin Mustapha, TikTok’s head of music partnerships for the UK, Ireland, and sub-Saharan Africa.
The platform also includes a pre-release tool to let artistes create campaigns for upcoming albums and allow fans to pre-save songs on Spotify, Apple Music, and other platforms.
British-Nigerian artiste Jordan Adetunji hailed the tool as a “game changer,” saying it will help artistes and their teams plan smarter campaigns.
TikTok said the Nigerian rollout underscores its investment in Africa’s creative economy and its mission to help artistes build sustainable international careers.
