The Ekiti State police command have arraigned three persons, Isah Zaiyanu, (32), Bashiru Muhammed (24) and Yasir Usman (20) at the Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Ado-Ekiti for allegedly stolen iron rods and wires.
The prosecutor, Inspector Akinwale Oriyomi, told the court that the defendants, on February 21, at about 11:30am, were caught with pieces of iron rods, wires and other iron materials suspected to have been stolen.
He said the offence was punishable under Section 345 of the Criminal Law of Ekiti State, 2021.

Counsel to the defendants, Barrister Oluwafemi Alabi, urged the court to admit his clients to bail, the plea Chief Magistrate Abayomi Adeosun granted in the sum of N10,000 with one surety each.
He adjourned the case till March 27, for hearing.
