

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has reaffirmed the expulsion of Hon. Leke Abejide from the ADC, insisting that the lawmaker would not fly the party’s ticket in 2027.
Zonal National Vice-Chairman of ADC in charge of North Central, Senator Tunde Ogbeha stated this on Saturday while addressing a mammoth crowd in Kabba , Kabba-Bunu local government area of Kogi state during the unveiling of the party in Kogi west.
The national leader of the party described the unveiling of the party as a new chapter for ADC in Kogi West and Kogi State in general, stressing that the party’s rescue mission for Nigeria must be driven by collective resolve.
Ogbeha urged party members to intensify grassroots mobilisation, adding that the ADC remains fully prepared to secure victory in the next general election.
“Our mission is to provide a platform where the voices of the people are heard and respected. We are committed to transparency, inclusion, and creating opportunities for every citizen in Kogi West,” he said.
The former senator called on community leaders to support the building of strong ward and unit structures, noting that true development must begin at the local level.
In his address, Senator Dino Melaye, alleged that hardship ,
hunger, unemployment and insecurity have made life unbearable for people under the APC-led administration, assuring that ADC would provide succour for Nigerians comes 2027 if giving the mandate.
He warned Hon. Leke Abejide against actions capable of causing discord in Okunland, saying the people were “patiently waiting for him at home”
He accused the administration of President Bola Tinubu of failing in its primary duty of protecting citizens, adding that kidnapping and killings had continued unchecked.
