A 16 years old boy, Ja’afar Yusuf, has been allocated free 2024 Hajj seat for his prowess in memorising the complete Qur’an and knowledge of the Holy Book’s contents.

Making the presentation on behalf of Governor Abba Yusuf, the Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Laminu Danbappa, said the allocation was motivated by the teenager’s extraordinary talent in memorising the Qur’an which he noted to have “captivated hearts and minds.”

Notably, Danbappa said the boy possesses an exceptional understanding of every word and its location within the Holy Book, demonstrating an unparalleled commitment to his faith and its teachings.
